Former Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has criticised the ‘ugly side of football’ after agent Saif Rubie was cleared of sending her a threatening email.
Head bowed and sat in the dock of court 10, football intermediary Rubie broke down in tears as the jury confirmed the verdict at around 1pm on Monday.
Rubie was charged with a single count of sending an electronic communication with the intent to cause distress after emailing Granovskaia on May 22, 2022, over a payment of £300,000 he believed he was owed as part of Kurt Zouma’s £29.
