VIDEO: Sebastian Giovinco Scores Fastest Goal in Toronto FC History

It took Toronto FC just 57 seconds to take the lead against D.C. United today. The goal was the quickest in club history, beating the previous record which was 1:50 on a goal from Reggie Lambe in the Voyageurs Cup.

Sebastian Giovinco scored the goal, his fourth of the season. He was in the right place at the right time as Marky Delgado centred a ball played by Jozy Altidore. It was Altidore's second assist in as many games.

Giovinco has now scored 26 goals with Toronto FC.
