No comeback required for the Rangers today. In fact, Texas was up 1-0 after the first pitch of this one as Marcus Semien began a big day from the bats with a leadoff dong. By the end of the second inning, it was 11-0 as the Rangers scored a near-season’s worth of runs in the second frame.
By the end of the fourth inning, the Rangers had scored the 15 runs that they finished with. The only bummer is they weren’t able to top their season-best total after also scoring 15 against the Royals in Kansas City last Saturday.
