The Seahawks news cycle has been mostly positive since the Seattle Seahawks brought home their first Lombardi Trophy just a couple months ago.
That positive trend looks to continue tomorrow, as Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the Seahawks and head coach Pete Carroll have agreed to terms on a contract extension that will be officially announced tomorrow --

Many NFL pundits were skeptical of the Seattle Seahawks' hiring of Pete Carroll back in 2010, pointing to a middling 33-31 win-loss record that Carroll had compiled in his previous coaching stints with the New York Jets and New England Patriots.
However, after seeing Carroll win the 2003 AP National Championship and 2004 BCS National Championship, the Seahawks were willing to take a chance on the Larkspur, California native.
After back-to-back 7-9 seasons in 2010 and 2011 (including an NFC West title in 2010), Carroll led the Seattle Seahawks to an 11-5 record and another NFC title in 2012.
2013? Just a 13-3 record, a third NFC West title, and the first Super Bowl title in the Seahawks' 37-year history.
