49ers injury news on Jimmy Garoppolo is bigger than just this season. For starters, Jimmy G was already under a lot of scrutiny after his play in the first few games this season. If Nick Mullens performs well for the remainder of the year, Jimmy G could be done in San Francisco heading in 2021.

49ers start TE George Kittle has a fracture in his foot. Kittle has been dealing with injuries all year, however, this foot injury will likely end his season. Kittle is widely considered one of the best TEs in the NFL. Coming off of a brand new contract, Kittle will have to work hard to get back on the field in 2021.
