SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Portland Pilots Baseball had two student-athletes named to the 2023 Baseball WCC All-Academic Team, with catcher Nich Klemp and pitcher Nick Brink both making the squad. The Pilots also had several players earn honorable mention, including Ryan Rembisz, Ben Patacsil, Jake Tsukada, Spencer Scott, Evan Scavotto, Ty Saunders, Henry Muench, Briley Knight, Jake Holcroft, Brock Gillis, Joey Gartrell, Jack Folkins, Jacob Dobmeier and Peter Allegro.
The WCC All-Academic Team highlights athletes who succeeded both on and off the field. In order to qualify for the team, a student-athlete must be an important starter or reserve for their who holds a cumulative GPA of 3.
