Eagles Rumors And News: Jatavis Brown Retirement, Miles Sanders’ Potential And Jalen Hurts Trade?

There is some crazy Eagles news to begin the show as Jatavis Brown, once considered a starting linebacker for the Eagles, has retired from the NFL. The Eagles' LBer core was already thin and now Philadelphia might have to look for free agent linebacker options to fill the hole. Also, could the Eagles be looking to trade Jalen Hurts next offseason for a first-round pick? Thomas Mott, host of Philadelphia Eagles now, gives you his take on all things Eagles in today’s video.

With Jatavis Brown retiring, who could the Eagles look to on the free agent market to fill his spot or at least add depth to the position?  A couple of names like Mark Barron, Alec Ogletree and Wesley Woodyard would be familiar to Eagles’ fans. However, the vast majority of the FA LBers are too old to be considered.

Miles Sanders became the Eagles #1 back in 2020 after being drafted earlier that April in the second round. Teammate Brandon Brooks has said this offseason that Sanders will have a huge year. Sanders himself said he left about 300 yards out on the field last year and expects to be a 1,000 yard rusher.
