While the city of Philadelphia revels in the magic of being home of the Super Bowl champion Eagles, the Sixers are celebrating too.
Joel Embiid and Justin Anderson were in Minneapolis, enjoying the festivities in person. They shared their jubilance on twitter after the game.
Embiid and Anderson’s chartered flight didn’t arrive back in Philadelphia until 3:00 a.m. Monday. Embiid said that being at U.S. Bank Stadium and watching the Eagles win was an amazing experience, but that he wished he could have also celebrated in Philly.
“It was insane and I wish was in town,” Embiid said of the fans’ celebrations after the game.
