Today it was announced that former Belmont sharpshooter Cade Tyson has committed to the Tar Heels. This announcement arrived via his Instagram page.

Tyson is the first transfer portal prospect to commit to UNC this offseason, giving Hubert Davis a welcomed addition to his roster.
Tyson is a 6’7 forward from Monroe, NC. He spent his first two seasons playing for the Bruins where he averaged 15 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He was a very efficient scorer whenever he set foot on the floor as well — so far he averages 49.
