6 NFL Teams That Should Trade Up In Round 1 Of The 2019 NFL Draft

The 2019 NFL Draft is nearly here and there’s one thing you predict will happen: There will be NFL Draft Trades. Now it’s nearly impossible to actually predict the exact trade details, which teams will move up or what players a team will target, but some teams make more sense than others. NFL Trade Rumors continue to float, and although many are focused on Josh Rosen, there are a few teams in particular that make sense as trade up teams in the 2019 Draft.

The Kansas City Chiefs have two round 2 picks and needs on the defensive and offensive line and the secondary. The Houston Texans also have two seconds and need to actually protect Deshaun Watson with offensive line help. The Washington Redskins badly need QB help, so could they trade up for Dwayne Haskins?

Meanwhile, the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots both have a glut of draft picks in the early rounds. They both need tight ends and/or pass rushing help, so could they get aggressive and make a move up for one? And could the Patriots also target a top wide receiver? Finally, the Arizona Cardinals have all kinds of needs and are likely to make a trade at some point during the NFL Draft. Could they move up to protect their franchise QB, be it Josh Rosen or Kyler Murray.
