QB Trevor Lawrence was the #1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft as the Jaguars got the party started. Zach Wilson from BYU went #2 overall to the New York Jets and was followed by the 49ers drafting Trey Lance with the #3 overall pick in the NFL Draft. One of the biggest steals of the NFL Draft was the Bears trading up to pick #11 to draft Justin Fields. The final QB in the 1st round drafted was Mac Jones who was selected by the New England Patriots with the #15 pick.
Rounds 4-7 in the NFL Draft saw players like Sam Ehlinger, Ian Book, Shaun Wade, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jabril Cox saw their dreams of being drafted into the NFL come true when their names were called by Roger Goodell even if they had to wait for Day 3 of the NFL draft.
