Knicks News: Phil Jackson Admits New York May Struggle Early In The Season

The New York Knicks had one of the worst seasons in frachise history last year, but many fans are expecting them to compete for a playoff spot sooner rather than later.

However, with a dependence on playing young players like rookies Kristaps Porzingis and Jerian Grant, Knicks President Phil Jackson admitted that New York will probably struggle out of the gate this season.

Via ESPN's Charlie Rosen:

"We have a number of new players, so they may struggle early as they learn how to play with each other," he says. "Where we end up as the season progresses is an unknown, but we have improved our roster and have a chance to be a good team."
