Knicks Agree To Deal With Guard Ramon Sessions

The New York Knicks have finally found the veteran guard they've been searching for. The team is finalizing a deal with PG Ramon Sessions.

Sessions played 50 games for the Hornets last year, putting up 6.2 points and 2.6 assists per game. That's below his career averages of 10.6 points and 4.1 assists. The Hornets declined his $6.3 million option this offseason.

The Knicks were looking for another point guard option this offseason. They drafted Frank Ntilikina in the first round this year, but the team think he's not quite ready to handle starting PG duties. The addition of Sessions, on a cheap contract, gives the Knicks a veteran option to start over Ntilikina or provide a veteran presence off the bench.
