Knicks Rumors: New York Signs Langston Galloway To Two-Year Deal

The New York Knicks have signed point guard Langston Galloway to a contract for the remainder of this season and the 2015-16 season, according to ESPNNewYork.com.

Galloway, an undrafted rookie from St. Joseph's, signed a 10-day contract with the Knicks on January 7, and has impressed Knicks coaches since. His second 10-day contract with the Knicks ended earlier Tuesday.

Galloway was signed from the Knicks' D-League team in Westchester, and has a partial guarantee on the second-year of his deal. He is averaging 12 points, three assists, and four rebounds in 28 minutes a game in his first eight games with the team.

Knicks coach Derek Fisher credits Galloway, as well as Lance Thomas and Lou Amundson, for changing the energy in the locker room that has helped New York has win three of their last four games. Amundson and Thomas are both on their second 10-day contracts that will expire at the end of the week.
