Knicks Rumors: New York Assigns Cleanthony Early To D-League

New York Knicks President Phil Jackson announced that the team has assigned forward Cleanthony Early to the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Development League.

Early is averaging 4.5 points and 1.9 rebounds over 14.3 minutes in 15 games for Knicks so far this season.

The 6'8", 220 lb. rookie has seen limited playing time and has dealt with several injuries, and the Knicks are hoping he can improve on this skills while getting a lot of playing time in the D-League.

New York selected Early with the 37th overall pick (seventh pick of the second round) in the 2014 NBA Draft, the team's first pick in the draft.
