BREAKING: Saints RB Mark Ingram Suspended 4 Games For Violating NFL's PED Policy

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram has been suspended four games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

He will be allowed to go through the Saints' offseason program and play in the preseason, but he will not be able to be with the team for games or practice during the first four weeks of the regular season.

It is Ingram's first time violating the policy. Alvin Kamara will take over full-time duties in the backfield in Ingram's absence.

Ingram rushed for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns last season while also catching 58 passes for 416 yards.
