New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore and Tennessee Titans linebacker Zach Cunningham returned to practice on Wednesday as they try to make it back on the field before the end of the NFL regular season.
Barmore is a former Alabama standout. Cunningham starred at Pinson Valley High School. Both players are on injured reserve.
Barmore has missed the Patriots’ past seven games because a knee injury. Cunningham has missed eight games this season because of an elbow injury.
By returning the players to practice, their teams started a 21-day countdown to remove them from injured reserve and restore them to active status.
