The Heisman Trophy Race is starting to take shape as the College Football Season moves on, so it’s time for a fresh batch of Heisman Trophy Power Rankings. There are a few front runners for the 2020 Heisman Trophy, led by Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts and Justin Fields.

The Heisman Trophy Power Rankings are dominated by a clear-cut top 3: LSU QB Joe Burrow, Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts and Ohio State QB Justin Fields. All 3 have cases to be #1, are having great years and happen to be transfer quarterbacks.
Jonathan Taylor will remain in the mix as his historic college football career continues, but Wisconsin’s loss to Illinois hurts him badly. Tua Tagovailo continues to put up big numbers, but another ankle injury might hurt his Heisman hopes.
While Trevor Lawrence has struggled this year, Travis Etienne is still pushing for a Heisman campaign. And although Oregon lost early this year, you can’t rule out Justin Herbert yet either. And Fields’ teammate at Ohio State, RB J.K. Dobbins is also lurking.
