Earlier in the week, an Instagram picture posted by Alabama football player Derrick Henry with him standing next to a crimson-colored Corvette caused quite a stir -- leading once again to allegations of impropriety by boosters around the Alabama football program.

Former West Virginia quarterback Pat White chimed in on the matter on Facebook today, stating that he was "still glad" he "turned down a Corvette [from Alabama] to become a Mountaineer," also claiming that "the crimson tide has been doing this for years."

Per Mike Cardillo of The Big Lead, reporters met up with obviously irritated Alabama head coach Nick Saban at an event in Tennessee on Thursday, and asked him about Pat White's social media bombshell.

Alabama.com was there to chronicle his reaction:

At Nashville reporter broached White’s claims of improper offers in the recruiting process. Alabama spokesman Jeff Purinton stepped in and said Saban was not with the program at the time of White’s recruitment.

But Saban responded anyway. “I didn’t even know it happened,” he said. “So I can’t comment on it. … Is that the best thing we can talk about? … kiss my ass.

Well, that settles that...at least for now.
