3 Reasons Why The Vikings Are Guaranteed To Beat The Giants This Weekend

The Minnesota Vikings are a somewhat surprising 3-0 this season after losing both Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson to significant injuries, and now comes another tough test against a very good New York Giants team on Sunday night. Some people are favoring the Giants, but as we say, those people are wrong. Here are three reasons why the Viking will beat the Giants.

3) Minnesota's dominant defense
The Vikings defense has easily been the best in the NFL this season. They rank sixth in the league in yards allowed per game (295.0) and third in points allowed per game (13.3), but most impressively, rank second in the league in takeaways with nine. They've returned both a fumble and interception for a touchdown and shut down two of the best offenses (Green Bay, Carolina). It won't be any different with the Giants.

2) Eli Manning's history vs. Minnesota
For whatever reason, the Vikings just seem to have Manning's number. He's just 2-5 in his career against Minnesota with five touchdowns and 14 interceptions in those games. 14! Considering this is the Vikings' best defense in that time frame, those bad numbers will continue for Manning.

1) Sam Bradford's continued improvement
Bradford has only been with the Vikings for a month and has just two starts with the team under his belt, but he has proven to be a real difference maker for this team. He's completing nearly 70 percent of his passes for 457 yards and three touchdowns (with no interceptions), and is still learning the playbook. Bradford will continue to get better every week - which is bad news for a suspect Giants secondary.
