The #1 high school footballplayer in Michigan in 2014, DE Malik McDowell, was all set to commit to Michigan on Friday, after getting his parents permission last weekend following the BBQ at the Big House.
McDowell reportedly let several folks close to him know that he was ready to commit to Michigan and would do so on Friday. When the time came, McDowell seemingly backed off his intent due to the fact that he wants to take official visits this fall to other schools, including several SEC schools.
Committed prospects are forbidden from taking visits to other schools by Brady Hoke and that policy seems to have scared off McDowell from making a commitment to the Wolverines. Where will he end up? Only time will tell....
