Michigan Football Recruiting: Wolverines Emerging As Favorite For 2016 CB

Michigan offered a scholarship to three-star 2016 CB Korey Banks (Tyrone, GA) on Friday during his official visit to Ann Arbor, and the Wolverines have quickly emerged as the favorite to land him.

“It was great,” Banks said, via 247sports. “There aren’t too many places you can say are like Michigan, especially with Coach (Jim) Harbaugh coming back. Just the atmosphere, there is a lot of excitement and a lot of energy there.”

The 6'0", 170-pound corner turned heads by running a 4.37 40-yard dash at the EFT Adidas Top 10 Showcase over the weekend.

Banks also has offers from Cincinnati and Wisconsin, and said he's going to take his time making a decision.

“My decision will come down to who is recruiting me the hardest, who wants me the most and who’s bringing the most to the table.”
