Proven coaches should be high on Michigan State’ head coach candidate list and there are several who make sense. They are at smaller schools, but EMU’s Chris Creighton and Army’s Jeff Monken have done solid work. Pat Narduzzi has ties to Michigan State as well. And the last time MSU hired a Cincinnati head coach, things worked out well. So why not try again with Luke Fickell?

Here’s the full Top 5 Candidates List:
5. Chris Creighton (HC, EMU)
4. Jeff Monken (HC, ARMY)
3. P.J. FLECK (HC, MINN)
2. Pat Narduzzi (HC, PITT)
1. Luke Fickell (HC, UC)
