MM 5.1: Former Maryland women’s basketball player Faith Masonius commits to Seton Hall

Faith Masonius, a longstanding member of Maryland’s women’s basketball, has announced her transfer to Seton Hall for her final year of college eligibility, according to her post on X.

Beginning her career at Maryland in 2019, Masonius was part of the Terps’ highly-touted recruiting class, which included standout players like Ashley Owusu, Diamond Miller and Zoe Young.

Despite never averaging more than seven points per game during her five-year tenure, the 6-foot-1 forward was consistently recognized as the team’s vocal leader, serving as captain twice.
