Former Los Angeles Lakers Player Flynn Robinson – Rest in Peace

A former Los Angeles Lakers player Flynn Robinson passed away last Thursday due to cancer. As called by Chick Hearn being Mr. Instant Point, Robinson’s time with the team was not that long. He was able to play 72 games with an average of 15 minutes per game.

He was able to score 10 points on a 49% shooting average along with a couple of assists and a couple more for rebounds. That means that when he played for 36 minutes for each game, in a season, he would have a total average of the following: 3 rebounds, 6 assists, and 23 points.

As per Robinson’s whole NBA career, he had an average of 14.5 points, a field goal of 45.6% and 2.6 rebounds.

Throughout his career, he played for a total of six team during a total of 8 years that started with the Cincinnati Royals and ended with the San Diego Conquistadors. But with the 1972 Lakers team, he was able to win one championship.
