Rockets' winning streak ends with overtime loss to Pistons

DETROIT – When the Rockets needed one more stop in regulation, they couldn't get it. That, however, did not beat them.

When they could not any stops in overtime, the Pistons pulled away and left them in the dust, taking a 116-111 win, snapping the Rockets winning streak at five games with a five-minute blitz of scoring.

The Pistons made all five shots they put up in overtime along with seven free throws to take the win.

After Blake Griffin, whose late 3 in regulation saved the Pistons, began overtime with a free throw, P.J. Tucker put in a 3-pointer to put the Rockets in front.
