MEMPHIS – The Rockets had been rolling as they rarely have this season and not at all on the road since that night in Minnesota when the offense deserted them in the second half.
They led by 21 by halftime on Saturday, but the Grizzlies don't let games go smoothly. One way or another, with an offense that stomps the brakes on pace and a defense ranked fourth in the NBA, they will find ways to grab hold of a game and make it their kind of grind.
The Rockets let all but six points of their once-commanding lead slip away, but got enough stops and free throws in the final minute to hold off Memphis, 105-97, for their third-consecutive win.
