The Rockets recalled Brandon Knight from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers after he scored 16 points with five assists on Friday in his first game action since he tore the ACL in his left knee in the 2016-17 season.
Knight was not active for Saturday's game with the Rockets considering his playing time on Friday part of his rehab process.
"He's just trying to work his way back," D'Antoni said. "He's a ways off. That was a good first step obviously. He got on the court. Our trainers were happy with the way he looked and the way he feels.
