Misfiring Rockets crushed by Thunder

OKLAHOMA CITY – As Carmelo Anthony fired away, searching and hoping for something that worked in his return to Oklahoma City, there was one thing he had accomplished.

He fully captured the frustrations and inept play of his current team, as it was blown off the floor by a portion of his previous team.

Anthony was far from the Rockets' only problem. There were issues wherever they turned. But little could better capture how far the Rockets were from competing with the Oklahoma City Thunder before they finished another game with the bench cleared, the Thunder completing a 98-80 romp in which the Rockets' largest lead was one and brief.
