According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Rockets are expected to announce that Carmelo Anthony will be waived.
Carmelo Anthony’s brief stop with the Houston Rockets is over, league sources tell ESPN. Anthony will part ways with team, although there are no immediate plans to place 10-time All-Star on waivers. Team announcement is expected before Rockets play Golden State tonight.

The team has yet to announce the roster move however, which does add some doubt to the move as the Rockets have said nothing but great things about Melo and have talked about wishing to keep him.
