BREAKING: Chris Paul Ruled Out For Game 6 Of Western Conference Finals With Hamstring Injury

Houston Rockets star point guard Chris Paul will miss Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday night after a hamstring injury he suffered in their Game 5 victory over the Golden State Warriors, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

Paul will be re-evaluated when the team returns to Houston prior to either Game 7 or the start of the NBA Finals. He suffered the injury on this play:

It remains to be seen who will start for Paul, but Houston is 15-6 this season in games with James Harden and Clint Capela playing without Paul.

The Rockets are one game away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time since they won their second of back-to-back titles in 1995. They would also end Golden State's streak of three consecutive NBA Finals appearances.

Tip-off for Game 6 is set for 9:00 p.m. ET on TNT on Saturday night. Golden State is 11.5-point favorites after Paul's injury.

Paul is averaging 18.6 points, 7.9 assists, and 5.4 rebounds per game this postseason.
