The Zags' 58-57 loss was their third one-point loss of the season and the second in their past two games.
“It feels like they just keep coming,” guard Georgia Stirton said. “One possession games, it’s tough. It’s tough when you work so hard in practice on the little things you try and avoid in these situations but I mean we have one more game and hopefully we can get that and have momentum going forward.”
Torero guard Malina Hood then drilled a 3-pointer to put USD back ahead with 27 seconds left in the game.
