Final Score: BYU 72 - Santa Clara 60. True to form, Santa Clara's offense featured a lot of Jared Brownridge, and for a little while it looked like he might be able to power the Broncos past BYU. But, some key plays by BYU in the closing minutes helped them pull away after a Brownridge three-pointer got Santa Clara to within one point with six minutes to play.
Final Score: Pepperdine 90 - USF 86. Pepperdine and USF slugged it out in a no-defense affair. The Waves held on for the win after reeling off a 13-point run midway through the second half to take a lead they would never relinquish.
