Warriors Weekly: Golden State Riding High On Seven-Game Win Streak

The Golden State Warriors are back to being who we thought they were. A 1-2 start was puzzling, but this juggernaut appears to have righted the ship with a seven-game win streak - and six of those wins came by at least 17 points (and all by double-digits). However, they are facing a difficult stretch over the course of the next week. More on that streak and more inside our Warriors Weekly update:

Last Week:
Golden State wrapped up a four-game homestand last week. That homestand started last Monday with a 97-80 win over the Miami Heat, which was followed by a dominant 125-101 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves without Kevin Durant, who missed the game with a thigh injury.

The Warriors then tied the NBA record most consecutive wins by 17 points or more on Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers, beating them 135-114. It was already the third time this season that Golden State has scored over 130 points in a game.

That 17+ streak ended on Monday against the Orlando Magic, a game Golden State won without an injured Stephen Curry. After being tied at halftime, the Warriors exploded in the third quarter and cruised to a 110-100 win.

What's Up Next:
A four-game road trip awaits the Warriors, starting on Thursday against the Boston Celtics in a nationally televised by TNT game. They will be trying to end Boston's 13-game win streak, which is the longest in the league and has given the Celtics the best record (13-2) in the NBA.

Following that game, the Warriors have their second back-to-back of the season against the Sixers and Brooklyn Nets on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, before closing the road trip Wednesday at the Oklahoma City Thunder. It's the first game between those two sides this season and will be televised nationally by ESPN.

Injuries:
Curry is still dealing with a thigh injury, but have been able to practice in full and is expected to play Thursday against the Celtics.
