Warriors Take Commanding 3-0 Series Lead With 120-108 Win Over Spurs

The depleted San Antonio Spurs put up a fight, but the Golden State Warriors' offense was too much in Game 3. The Warriors didn't blow the Spurs out like they did in Game 2, but led for the entire second half and went on to win 120-108. The Warriors are now one game away from advancing to the NBA Finals.

The Warriors shot 55.6 percent from the field and 42.3 from 3-point range. The Spurs shot 46.7 percent and only 25 percent from 3.

Kevin Durant led the way for the Warriors. He had 19 points in the third quarter and finished with 33 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

JaVale McGee had a fantastic first half, leading all scorers with 16 points. Starting in place of the injured Zaza Pachulia, he finished with 18 points.

Despite battling foul trouble early, Stephen Curry finished with 21 points and six assists. He also showed off his impressive handles.

Klay Thompson had 17 points and six boards, while Draymond Green had 10 points, seven boards, seven assists and a pair of broken ankles.

The Spurs were already without Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard and then they lost David Lee early to a leg injury.

The bench, namely Manu Ginobili, was key for the Spurs. They had 56 bench points, highlighted by Ginboili's 21. He even dropped a nutmeg on David West.

Pau Gasol had a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards off the bench. LaMarcus Aldridge and Jonathon Simmons were the only Spurs starters to reach double-figures. Aldridge picked up his game in the second half, finishing with 18 points. Simmons had 14 as both were 7 of 17 from the field.

Game 4 of the series is Monday in San Antonio. Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. ET.
