Warriors News: Golden State Not Concerned About Surging Rockets

The Houston Rockets have emerged as the biggest threat to the Golden State Warriors this season and currently have the best record in the Western Conference, but the Warriors don't seem overly concerned about that.

When asked if the Rockets provided a bigger threat to Golden State than other teams in year's past, Stephen Curry shot down that notion.

During the All-Star break, a pair of Warriors teammates made statements along the same lines and aren't concerned about having the best record in the West.

“I don’t even look at the standings,” Draymond Green said. “We haven’t even talked about it.”

“Best record?” Kevin Durant said. “That’s not even a thing. It’s about playing good basketball every night. If we don’t play good basketball, we’ll lose.”

Golden State is current 47-14, putting them only a half game behind the Rockets at the top of the West. The two teams won't meet again this season with Houston winning to two of the three regular-season meetings.
