Steve Kerr Says Stephen Curry Won't Play In First Round Of Playoffs

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has provided an update on the health of Stephen Curry and it's not good news for Warriors fans. Kerr said "There's no way he's playing in the first round."

It had previously been reported that Curry could return near the start of the playoffs but was out for the regular season. Curry suffered a Grade 2 MCL Sprain against the Atlanta Hawks this week.

Curry had only just returned from an ankle injury before going down vs. the Hawks. The injury occurred when JaVale McGee landed on Curry accidentally.

The Warriors are currently dealing with a variety of injuries. Kevin Durant is dealing with a rib injury, but should return soon. Draymond Green is also on the verge of a return following a pelvic contusion. Klay Thompson has been out since March 11 with a fractured thumb.

This is a developing story. Refresh for updates.
