Warriors News Update: Ex-Warrior Kent Bazemore now a free agent

In today's Warriors news update, former Golden State Warriors reserve guard Kent Bazemore was denied a qualifying offer from the Los Angeles Lakers today, making him an unrestricted free agent as of July 1st.

Per NBA.com's Jeff Caplan, via CSN Bay Area, there are five teams which are currently expressing a level of interest in the 24-year-old Bazemore: the Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, Atlanta Hawks, and Brooklyn Nets.

In 67 games between the Warriors and Lakers last year, Bazemore averaged 6.0 points, 1.4 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game. Bazemore was extended limited minuted during both his stay in Oakland and Los Angeles, and could find a few more minutes at his next desitination.

Bazemore was with the Warriors for the 2012-13 season and part of the 2013-14 campaign before being traded to the Lakers in this past winter's Steve Blake trade.
