With teams being able to host free agent tryouts again, the Lions wasted no time in their efforts to bring in some new faces. Among those that were given a close look this past Thursday were running backs C.J. Prosise, Johnathan Williams and Troymaine Pope, linebacker Avery Moss, center Erik Magnuson, as well as cornerbacks Brian Allen and Dominique Hatfield.
Considering the already-loaded Lions backfield, it’s interesting to see the Lions hosting three running backs for tryouts, but it should come as no surprise to see the Lions doing their due diligence while they can.
