Zack Martin tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week and head coach Mike McCarthy said at the time that he was out Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But now the Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones are keeping the door open for Martin actually playing this week. Vaccinated players, like Martin, can return to the field if they receive 2 negative tests, 24 hours apart, and are asymptomatic.
