3 Reasons Why The Dallas Cowboys Are Guaranteed To Beat The Los Angeles Chargers on Thanksgiving

The Dallas Cowboys suffered a disappointing loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend in their second game without Ezekiel Elliott and Tyron Smith. This week the Los Angeles Chargers are coming to town, many expect the Cowboys to suffer their third straight defeat. However, we don't see that happening. Here are three reasons why Dallas is guaranteed to beat the Chargers on Thanksgiving.

Cowboys Pass Rush
The Chargers offensive line once again has struggled with injuries this season which is exactly what the Cowboys and Demarcus Lawernce love to hear. This season Lawernce has 11.5 sacks and has been an absolute menace for defensive coordinators and when you can pressure Philip Rivers and fluster him, that can lead to turnovers. With the Cowboys winning this game from the start, Lawernce and the rest of the Cowboys will be able to pin their ears back and get after Philip Rivers.

Cowboys Offensive Line
Tyron Smith is expected to return after missing the last two weeks due to a groin injury. In those two games, the Cowboys scored seven and nine points while allowing 12 sacks on Dak Prescott. With Smith back, the Cowboys offensive line is back to being one of the better units in the NFL and should be able to handle the Chargers in the trenches. The Chargers have a great front seven and aren't afraid to blitz, but if the Cowboys can hold off the blitz this will lead to finding open players down the field.

Alfred Morris
The Cowboys will be without Sean Lee again for this game and in the four games without Lee this season the Cowboys are giving up about 33 points a game. A great way to keep your struggling defense off the field is by giving the ball to Alfred Morris, who is averaging 6.2 yards per carry this season and rushed for 91 yards last week against a very good Eagles defense. The Chargers are giving up 140 rushing yards per game which leads me to think the Cowboys will try and control the clock and take pressure off of Dak Prescott by pounding the ball with Morris.
