Post-Game Recap: Columbus Blue Jackets Halt Red Wings in OT

The Columbus Blue Jackets opened the season with a 3-2 win in overtime over the Detroit Red Wings.

Although the Jackets scored the first goal of the game, the Red Wings countered to tie. The same happened after the Jackets scored their second goal of the game.

In the end the Jackets prevailed in overtime to start the year off on the right note. All while having the backup goaltender between the pipes.
