The Columbus Blue Jackets bad tendencies continue to rub off on their prospects for the Cleveland Monsters. Fortunately head coach John Madden found a way to get it instilled in his teams’ heads to reduce the penalties. If he hadn’t, Saturday’s loss could’ve been much worse.
Kevin Stenlund got the first goal of the back-to-back for the Monsters roughly a third of the way through the first period. Stenlund’s goal would once again show off his phenomenal shooting ability that is a major reason for his future NHL career. The first period would end 1-0 in favor of the Monsters thanks to the Stenlund tally.
