The first period went nearly as good as a period can go for the Cleveland Monsters on Saturday. They fell down 1-0 to Rockford, but almost immediately the score jumped to 3-1 in favor of the Monsters.
Eric Robinson proved that he’s the future of hockey in Ohio with two goals, the first and third of the period. Meanwhile Zac Dalpe added to his impressive start with another goal which gave the Monsters the lead. While Dalpe ended up with the goal, the play was mostly thanks to Alex Broadhurst‘s tremendous pass to set everything up.
