Kevin Love Will Not Be Suspended For Game 2 Of The 2018 NBA Finals, Tristan Thompson Decision Coming

The NBA has announced that Cleveland Cavaliers PF Kevin Love will not be suspended for his minor role in the altercation between the Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors at the end of Game 1. The NBA never seriously considered a suspension as he was off to the side of the fight and never made a motion to get involved. Love had 21 points and 14 rebounds in the Game 1 loss including a clutch 3 to help push the game to overtime.

Despite his lack of suspension, Cavs PF/C Tristan Thompson still faces a decision on his role in the fight. He was ejected after throwing an elbow at Warriors G Shaun Livingston and then proceeded to start a ruckus with Draymond Green and the rest of the Warriors. His decision will be announced later today.
