Cavs Weekly: Cleveland Trusting Process With No Legitimate Threat In East

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been as dominant as ever at the start of this season, winning four of their last five games to push the Cavs to 10-2 on the season. In fact, the Cavs hae been so good that they already have a multi-game lead over the second-place Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Cavs Weekly update:

Last Week:
Cleveland started the week in a heated matchup at home against the Toronto Raptors. The game went down to the wire, but Channing Frye hit a big three to give the Cavs a lead with less a minute left, and Cleveland managed to get the 121-117 victory. It's already Cleveland's second win over the Raptors this year.

The Cavs then went to Indiana to face the Pacers on Wednesday night as the second game of the back-to-back, and head coach Tyronn Lue decided to rest both LeBron James and J.R. Smith for the game. Their absence definitely showed as Cleveland lost, 103-93, despite a monster game from Kevin Love (29 points, 16 rebounds).

Fully rested, Cleveland took their frustration out on the Pistons on Friday, grabbing a double-digit lead in the first quarter and never relenting on their way for a 104-81 victory.

What's Next?
The Cavs have off until Wednesday, when they will host the Portland Trail Blazers. The Dallas Mavericks are the next team to come into Cleveland on Friday, then the Cavs will hit the road for a two-game trip against the Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks. Read more Cavs news in the Chat Sports iPhone and Android apps.

Injuries:
With J.R. Smith's return from an ankle injury against the Pistons, Cleveland does not have any injuries listed - a side effect from having four days off in a row.
