Apparently, the Cleveland Cavaliers weren't satisfied with their 25 made threes in Game 2.
Led by the sharpshooting of veteran Channing Frye off the bench, the Cavs buried 21 three-pointers to wipe away a double-digit second-half deficit and defeat the Atlanta Hawks 121-108. With the win, Cleveland is now up 3-0 in the series and remains undefeated in the postseason through seven games.
Frye had a team high 27 points on 10-of-13 shooting (including 7-of-9 from deep), LeBron James had another near triple-double with 22 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists, and Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love chipped in 22 and 21, respectively. As a team, the Cavs shot 49 percent from the field and an astounding 54 percent from beyond the arc.
The Hawks looked like they were on their way to getting a game back on their home floor, but were outscored 32-15 in the fourth quarter and are now just one game away from being swept in the Eastern Conference semis. Al Horford led the Hawks with 24 points, but only grabbed one rebound. Jeff Teague double-doubled with 19 points and 14 assists, Paul Millsap added 17 points and eight boards, and Kyle Korver scored 18 off the bench.
