Instant Reaction: Cavs Dominate Lakers For 120-105 Blowout Win

The Lakers hung with the Cavs early in the game, but Cleveland turned it on and took a 64-49 lead into halftime. Cleveland continued to build on the lead in the second half, winning this one with ease.

Turning Point:

Cleveland went on a 20-2 run during a five minute stretch late in the second quarter, turning this one from a close game into the blowout we all expected this one to be.

Key Stat:

Cleveland's defense smothered the Lakers in this one, holding them to just 41.0 percent shooting from the field and an impressive 30.4 percent from three-point range.

Cleveland MVP:

Kevin Love rebounded a dismal night against the Pacers on Friday with an absolutely dominant 32-point, 10-rebound performance. LeBron James also put on a masterful performance with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists while Kyrie Irving chipped in 28 points and 10 assists.

Los Angeles MVP:

Rookie point guard Jordan Clarkson stepped up and played extremely well for the Lakers, scoring 20 points while adding six rebounds and four assists.
