The Bears appear set for a QB competition between Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles, but should Chicago explore a Trubisky trade? The Chicago Bears have high expectations entering 2020, but questions remain at quarterback. If Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky under-perform, could the Bears tank for Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence is the projected #1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and would give the Bears a franchise QB immediately. Chicago would have to fall off a cliff to get the top pick in next year’s draft.

The Bears have had an up-and-down NFL Free Agency by trading for Nick Foles and adding Robert Quinn and Jimmy Graham to lucrative contracts. Bleacher Report suggests the Bears are the biggest free agency losers. Chicago certainly made some questionable moves, but Quinn & Graham are upgrades at positions of need and Nick Foles at least creates competition at QB.
Kelechi Osemele is still unsigned after the all-pro guard was released by the Jets last season over a shoulder injury dispute. Could the Bears sign him to sure up the right guard spot? Cordarrelle Patterson seemed to recruit him on Twitter last week and Osemele tagged his agent in a response.
