The Auburn Tigers offered a scholarship to three-star running back Darrian Felix (Fort Myers, FL) on Wednesday, and it appears they have jumped right to the top of his list because of it.
"[It's] big," he said, via 247sports. "Just the tradition and the school itself. They will be a program that I would really consider."
North Carolina and West Virginia are also heavily pursuing Felix with Auburn, but it appears that Miami is the favorite to land him.
Felix is ranked as the No. 11 all-purpose back and No. 667 overall prospect in the country. He ran for 1,029 yards and 14 touchdowns on only 138 carries as a junior last season. Check out his highlights here:
